About Us:

Since 1980 the continuing goal of The Greater Cincinnati Tennis Association's (GCTA) has been to assist in effectively increasing the number new and returning active players in this lifelong sport. The GCTA fosters and promotes interest in tennis on all levels in Greater Cincinnati by encouraging junior development, supporting league play, honoring outstanding players and providing assistance to local tournaments and other related events. Some of these include:

  • Junior Davis & Wightman Cup

  • Annual Cincinnati Metropolitan Tournament, The "Met"

  • In-school programs which introduce children to tennis

  • Rookie Tournaments for new junior players

  • Annual Cincinnati Tennis Hall of Fame Event

The GCTA is a not-for-profit, volunteer organization and all individuals with an interest in tennis in Cincinnati are invited to participate. We thank all junior and adult players, dedicated volunteers and you for making a difference.
